The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame has announced the field and schedule for the 2nd annual Panini Hoophall Invitational, and St. Joe’s Basketball is proud to represent Western New York among the 56 boys’ programs invited to compete.

The invitational will take place January 17–18, 2026, across multiple venues in Springfield, Massachusetts — the birthplace of basketball — and will feature top high school teams from eight states across the Northeast, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

Each participating team is guaranteed two games, with all contests streamed live on the NFHS Network. The event coincides with Hoophall Weekend, celebrating the game’s history and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

St. Joe’s will open play on Saturday, January 17, at 11:00 AM against Middletown High School North (NJ) at Western New England University. Their second matchup will be determined based on bracket results.

“We’re extremely excited to be part of such a prestigious event,” said Head Coach Cooper Calzonetti. “It’s an honor to compete where the game of basketball was invented, and we’re looking forward to both the competition and the opportunity to experience the rich history that comes with it.”

All games will be streamed live on the NFHS Network, with tickets available now at etix.com/ticket/v/35217/hoophall-invitational
